KSE redux:
ok so i may have been wrong on my call last week, or early 
. the index ended the week solidly above the 10,000 mark. and from watching the movements in alot of the counters i think some adjustment needs to be made to how i evaluate the market here.
the kse seems to be alot shallower than the worlds main indicies, which are what i’m used to watching.
and i’m not sure what to make of that.
now before you say d’uh!, think back to the day it dropped 500 pts and tell me you didnt feel your heart flutter just a bit,… and show me your receipts for your purchases the week before last
show me yours i’ll show you mine
so after last weeks performance,.. are we gonna blaze thru 11,000 onto 12,000?
all i can say is watch this week carefully. there are still alot of retail traders out there that went long in december and january near the top. so it depends on what they do when their stock breaks even. do they jump ship, relieved they only got a little scratched and head for what appear to be greener pastures? or do they add to their position and grab the bull by the horns?
retail traders may be seen as complete idiots, but they do represent a large portion of the market ( lol read into that what you will ).
much is said about the hamours in the market, and how you really dont want to be in the way of that wave. but like a tsunami, there are multiple waves, and retail traders are the waves that follow the main devestation.
the ripple effect you could call it, i suppose.
the big boys were splashing around on wednesday and for most of last week, so saturday could see the second wave.
i would still watch 11,000 carefully if we hit it this week. profit taking there might be stronger than people think, considering the liquidity problems many on the floor are having.
